Patanjali Aloe Vera Gel

Beauty and Beautiful

Hello Everybody,

I am going to share my experience about Certain Patanjali products. Its not like I am a Baba Ramdev follower but I am in search of  good Ayurveda Products and have heard quite a lot about Patanjali products. My first purchase includes the the Milk protein hair cleanser and the Aloevera gel. My first review would be about the Aloevera Gel.

Its a green gel packed in a transparent flip cap tube, which is quite travel friendly. A the tube form controls the required amout you want to extract.

Company says: For natural beauty, safety and useful for removal of Pigmented spots.

Composition: Aloe Vera, Base Material Q.S, Permitted color, Vitamin E, Fragrance and Preservatives.

Price: 75/- INR for 150 ml

Uses: Useful in rejuvenating, nourshing, beautifying and glorifying skin, helps in retaining healthy skin.

Method of use: Rub on clean and dry skin and leave as such.

To start with this product as an amazing mild fragrance which fills the entire room. I am completely in love with the fragrance. This gel has soothing properties and after coming from the sun if applied on the skin provides immediate cooling effect and controls tanning. Its very effecive on rashes and soothes heat burns. It does help in removing blemishes however I experienced the glowing effect.. Some how I trust this product. There is one more point I would like to share that this gel can be best experienced by oily skin than dry skin like mine coz it doesnt help much with dryness.

I am using this mainly as a night cream and the sweet fragrance helps me sleep better.

Pros:

  • Has cooling and soothing properties
  • mild and lingering fragrance
  • Suited mainly for oily skin and its non greasy
  • Pocket friendly
  • Helps with blemishes to certain extent

Cons:

  • As I have dry skin so didnt help me much with the dryness. My skin still felt stretched.
  • Available only in dedicated Patanjali outlets

As I have dry skin so didn’t suit me that well but I have a strongly belief that it would suit oily skin. If you have tried this product then pls share your experience. I still continue to use it in the night and have faith that it will help me in having a better complexion in the long run.

  5. Many thanks for the article. I’m from Russia, and often travel to India. I decided to buy this gel. Since I do not understand Hindi (everything is written in Hindi) I thought it was a gel for washing the face and began to wash the face of it. And what was my surprise when I understood that it did not wash, but only smears out the dirt on the face. After that, I was angry and appealed to your site. Now everything is clear to me. Thank you for the explanation
